The Forestry Division staff are trained, professional arborists dedicated to care for Portland’s community forest. In addition to holding a required Maine Arborist License, five members of our staff have received certification from ISA, the International Society of Arboriculture and the National Arborists Association’s Electrical Hazards Awareness Program, EHAP. Training and safety programs are ongoing to ensure the highest degree of arboriculture in the safest manner possible.
