E-card Changes at Riverside Recycling Facility (6/16/2009)
Beginning July 1, 2009, there will be changes to the City e-card program at Riverside Recycling Facility. These include:
* E-card holders will have free disposal of up to 10 bulky items per year such as furniture, non-freon appliances, mattresses and box springs, gas grills and outdoor equipment as well as limited quantites of yard waste and hazardous waste

The Engineering Division within the Department of Public Services has a number
of different responsibilities with a primary mission of monitoring, evaluating,
designing and constructing the City's infrastructure.

Archives
The City Engineer's Archives is an excellent resource for anyone trying
to find out more about the history of the City's streets and infrastructure.
The Archives contain over 30,000 engineering plans, as well as other technical
records such as survey field books, written
street and sewer records, and City property deeds.
The City Engineer's Archives are located on the third floor at 55 Portland
Street. They are open to the public Tuesday through Thursday from 12:30 pm to
3:00 pm. For more information, please call the Engineering Office, at
874-8846.
