[ARCHIVED] Traffic Impact - Marginal Way 9/8 - 9/10

There will be minor impacts to traffic on Marginal Way and Diamond Street due to ongoing work at the Franklin Street Pump Station. The impact will be as follows:

September 8th beginning at 6 PM and ending on September 9th at 6 AM, access to Diamond Street from Marginal Way will be blocked.

September 10th from 9 AM to 5 PM, there will be CMP trucks parked along Marginal Way which may inhibit larger trucks from passing.

During this time, Diamond Street and Marginal Way will remain open with detours available around the potential traffic impacts.

These traffic impacts are necessary to allow important work to be completed at the Franklin Street Pump Station. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but appreciate your support in our efforts to keep Casco Bay clean and to provide reliable sanitary sewer service.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Benjamin Pearson, Water Resources Compliance Section Coordinator, at BNP@PortlandMaine.gov or 874-8843.
