Officer Coreena Behnke is our Youth Services Officer.
Officer Coreena Behnke has been with the Portland Police Department since March of 1999 She has worked various Patrol shifts with the majority of her career spent in Community Policing as the School Resource Officer at Portland High School. She received the Myra Kraft Community MVP Award.
She has taught RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) since 2002 and recently developed a new program for TEENS that was launched in July of 2015 at the International Training and Certification Conference.
Officer Behnke received the Aggressor Award for her dedication to the RAD program.
She is a board member of the Amy St Laurent Foundation.
Mentor at the Long Creek Youth Development Center.
She received Employee of the Month for the City of Portland in 2014.
She has volunteered her time as a counselor at Camp Postcard.
On a personal note, Officer Behnke enjoys working out, kayaking, photography and spending time with her husband and two children.
